Summer Time

Once upon a time Will Smith aka the Fresh Prince actually made music instead of movies. One of my favorite tracks to come out Dj Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince was the feel good jam Summer Time. The Nightriders bring us this party friendly remix so that we can keep this jam in heavy rotation. It takes until a little over 2 minutes in to actually get going but once it does the dance floor will love it. Promise.

I won't lie and try and tell you that Kraymer wasn't one of these artists for me. Through my sometimes obsessive search for new music I was lucky enough to run across this Melbourne wonder kid who makes music with unreal bass lines. With original work out on Idiot House Records, Jak'D Recordings, and Runt Records, the sky is the limit for this guy.

Bobby Brown and Whiteny Houston are probably one of my all time favorite celebrity couples. How could you not love them? Kraak and Smaak is arguably one of my favorite groups out now. Hailing from the Netherlands this trio has such a wide spanning sound that I don't understand how they aren't one of the biggest bands in the world. Check them out, They come highly recommended.

A recent addition to Brooklyn Fire Records he is poised to put the mid west back on the map! I for one am glad to see something coming out the place I used to call home and where the scene was hurting for so long. I expect big things in the future out of Figure and you should to!
