So from what I hear Brooklyn Fire Records has made a very large impact on this years WMC. Discobelle released a huge compilation of remixes of some of the greatest mid 90's underground rave classics by the huge talent pool that makes up this new record label. One track that didn't get in on this release but has had a huge push over the weekend comes from New Zealand producer Dan Aux. His remix for drum n bass outfit Stakka is pure prime time fun.
So I have finally gotten a legit set up to record at my apartment. Now I can get back on course with the podcast. Its funny how old friends have been talking to me alot about the raves we used to go back in the late 90's. Funny only because I have been feeling a push back towards the kind of music that I was really into at the time. This mix will give you an idea of how a real party should progress through the night. Minimal and tech at the beginning to pull you in, hard pounding bass in the middle then sweet melodies to bring you down at the end. I hope you enjoy it. Also in Vol. 8 we will return to our two dj format.
