Dan Aux

So from what I hear Brooklyn Fire Records has made a very large impact on this years WMC. Discobelle released a huge compilation of remixes of some of the greatest mid 90's underground rave classics by the huge talent pool that makes up this new record label. One track that didn't get in on this release but has had a huge push over the weekend comes from New Zealand producer Dan Aux. His remix for drum n bass outfit Stakka is pure prime time fun.

B. Cause

If you have ever heard me play a party rock/hip hop set you have no doubt heard some of the great stuff that San Fran's DJ B. Cause is doing. Keeping it hood and funky is something that this guy does extremely well. So heres two of his newer edits that are sure to make any set a little more enjoyable.

R Kelly and Keri Hilson -- Number One (B.Cause remix)

Keyshia Cole -- Should Have Cheated (B. Cause remix)

Maddjazz

Im really glad to see a strong resurgence in the Chicago sound. For those of you who have never been lucky enough to have visited this fine city, let me say it has one of the best vibes for music Ive ever seen. One group of djs that's pushing Chicago back into the spot light is the Ghetto Division guys. Maddjazz is one member of the crew and he has been turning out some great south side anthems sure to make the hood near you show off their footwork. Ghetto bangers!!

Maddjazz -- I Don't Play

Hussle Club

Not many people think of Louisville, Ky as a hot bed of musical talent, I like to think otherwise. These days its not hard to give examples of great music coming from people that have once or currently call Louisville home. After playing drums for the likes of Santogold, Spank Rock, Hearts Revolution, Young Love and Major Lazor, Prince Terrence brings us Hussle Club. Being an amazing drummer is one thing, but playing all the instruments himself is completely a whole different story. The first release also sees heavy remixes from Felix Cartel and Bird Peterson.

Hussle Club -- I Have High Expectations For What I Want To Be But In The Mirror I Don't See Them Staring Back At Me

Bingo Players

No I'm not talking about little old ladies who go and play bingo at church. Im talking about the hard hitting duo out of the the Netherlands. The Bingo Players are one of Europes fastest rising production teams and after listening to a few of their tracks its easy to see why. Amazing original productions along side remixes like this one of N.E.R.D. keep dance floors packed around the globe. Hopefully one day soon we will be seeing them on American soil. Till then enjoy this track!

Major Lazer Remix

So I have been really hesitant to post any Major Lazer stuff on here. Not because I dont dig it more because I dont want to post things that you can find on every other blog out there. Thats not my style. This however is the exception. Figure ( more on him here) drops an absolutely jackin remix for Baby. love the vocal stabs and love the bounce to it. This will be in my sets for a while I have a feeling.

Summer Time

Once upon a time Will Smith aka the Fresh Prince actually made music instead of movies. One of my favorite tracks to come out Dj Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince was the feel good jam Summer Time. The Nightriders bring us this party friendly remix so that we can keep this jam in heavy rotation. It takes until a little over 2 minutes in to actually get going but once it does the dance floor will love it. Promise.

I don't know much about Tiga other than he hails from Montreal and he is a little more indie that I like to post on here, however Green Velvet has turned indie into pure house goodness. Enjoy.

Kraymer

I'm sure all of you have come across a new artist that you fell in love with the very first time you heard one of their tracks. I won't lie and try and tell you that Kraymer wasn't one of these artists for me. Through my sometimes obsessive search for new music I was lucky enough to run across this Melbourne wonder kid who makes music with unreal bass lines. With original work out on Idiot House Records, Jak'D Recordings, and Runt Records, the sky is the limit for this guy.

We are lucky enough to be able to bring a nice little mix from Kraymer as well as a couple of remixes he has blessed us with. So sit back, relax, and prepare for the BASS!
