So I have had this mixtape on my desktop for a week or so and I finally got around to listening to it today (yes I know exactly what the cover told me not to do) and I couldn't be more surprised. With companies like Sk8mafia and Crem de la Crem firmly behind him, Makeshift is poised to be emcee that San Diego has needed to push it into the national spotlight. This guy has a few shows coming up so be sure and get out and support real hip hop.

Without a doubt Redman and Method Man are two of my all time favorite emcees. How can you not love these guys? Maybe its because i know that they love to smoke weed just as much as I do, maybe it was the fact they made a movie called How High, or maybe its just cause they make great music like this. Now this is my dude! If you ever wondered what would happen if you lived in the middle of no where and had a super large passion for writing and making music, wonder no more. Powder P hails from North Carolina but now resides in southern Indiana. From making his own beats, writing track after track and holding it down as a battle emcee this kid does it all. With a mixtape coming out soon, mixed by yours truly, Powder P is gonna shine hotter than the sun in 2009.
