My Very First Mixtape

So the year was 1995 and I found myself in the Chicago rave scene. How could anyone not fall in love with what was going on at that time. Amazing music, huge parties and great friends.

On one of my first visits to Gramaphone I bought my first house mixtape, on a cassette mind you. Terry Mullan gave me this masterpiece of mixing skills that I in turn played and played and played until the tape broke. A few months ago I ran across a download of that first mixtape I had and have been bumping it ever since. This was one of things that made me want to be a dj. And there's an extra gem hidden at the end of side B (remember this is 1995 and this track didnt hit mainstream until at least three years later).

Enjoy!!
